Global Launches Advanced's New Customer Care Kiosk

PHOENIX and TORONTO, June 13, 2007

Global Water Resources (“Global”) announced today the launch of its new customer care kiosk, a system designed by Advanced Utility Systems (“Advanced”).

The kiosks were deployed into the Global Water Center in the City of Maricopa. Global’s new center is the first green utility building in Pinal County, and the first commercial building in Arizona to use recycled water to flush toilets and urinals. The Center is also the technology hub for the utility’s customer service and award winning outreach activities.

The kiosks are the latest in a series of cutting edge customer service initiatives designed to educate our customers on their water consumption trends, promote water conservation and to provide a simple and fast way for customers to access their account information and pay their bills. Advanced developed an easy-to-use solution that connects directly and seamlessly to CIS Infinity®, Global’s customer information and utility billing solution. This seamless integration ensures customers get accurate real-time support with a few touches of the screen.

“This technology represents a breakthrough for customer service.” Praised Leo Commandeur, Global’s CIO, “The Global Water Center required a means by which we could educate customers on their consumption and directly compare it to other customers on their street or in the City. Advanced truly worked with us to provide a customer care solution that fits with Global’s total water management vision.”

As Steve Hammond, VP for Harris Computer Systems, Advanced division recalls, “Global’s scarcity management vision required a unique and innovative solution geared to customer education while still ensuring full service flexibility and payment options. The end-result exceeded everyone’s expectations. We are now in a position now to offer this innovative and proven solution to all of our customers across North America.”
