Rapid City, South Dakota and Toronto, Canada. October 6, 2006
Advanced Utility Systems Corporation (Advanced) is pleased to announce that the City of Rapid City (the City), South Dakota – located near historic Mount Rushmore – has selected CIS Infinity® as its customer information and billing solution for the City’s 20,000 water, sewer and solid waste accounts.
In conjunction with a world class CIS and utility billing solution, Advanced has a proven and fully scalable implementation methodology which has resulted in a number of rapid implementations for other customers over the last 12 months.
“We understand and appreciate the business case for completing a rapid implementation,” notes Steven Hammond, VP Advanced. “While it does add to the challenges, with our experience and proven approach, we are committed to ensure, upon conclusion of the implementation phase, a solution that meets the core functions of each of our customers.”
In addition to an accelerated implementation, Advanced, through CIS Infinity, will provide the City with extensive functionality standard for all of its day-to-day utility billing requirements. Specifically, the City will be able to take advantage of the built-in solid waste module. Some of the features of this module include: extensive inventory fields, the ability to store detailed information for solid waste pickups; the ability to schedule/route solid waste pickups and the ability to bill solid waste pickups by frequency and tonnage, and associated changes.
Advanced is proud to have the City as its first client in the state of South Dakota.
