Belize Electricity Limited Goes Live on CIS Infinity

Belize City, Belize and Toronto, Canada. March 2, 2006.

Serving 68,635 customers, on February 6, 2006, Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) successfully went live with CIS InfinityŽ, the robust, flexible, Microsoft-based customer information and billing system offered by Advanced Utility Systems (Advanced).

Formed in 1992, BEL has the exclusive authority to transmit and supply electricity for the country of Belize. BEL is a customer-focused organization that has proudly maintained a customer satisfaction rating of more than 80%, since the organization started to measure customer satisfaction in the year 2000.

"We chose CIS Infinity for its flexible nature and because it will allow us to maintain our high standard of service while simultaneously improving our internal business processes," said Betty Tam, Senior Manager Finance. "We were very pleased with the implementation of CIS Infinity. The project was completed on time and without interruption to our business". One area where BEL has experienced dramatic improvement through the use of CIS Infinity is the tracking of Service Orders and new Services. "One key feature of CIS Infinity that BEL relies on is its ability to streamline the tracking and processing of new services. As BEL grows, this is very important to us, " Betty Tam went on to say.

With CIS Infinity, BEL will be able to streamline workflow and customer service processes. In CIS Infinity all information related to a customer is available on a single screen enabling Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to efficiently and easily respond to customer inquiries. CSRs can quickly locate customers and accounts using sophisticated filters and search criteria and all information regarding previous customer communication can be tracked in the system.

The CIS Infinity solution is flexible, scalable, highly integrated and is delivered by a company with the industry experience, technical expertise and the staying power to meet a utility customer's long-term and short-term needs.
